Ignite Sweden Day

During 2017 Ignite Sweden has matched over 120 startups with 35 large corporates, resulting in more than 600 meetings. The year has been filled with both learnings and successes, and we believe that we have identified some key factors for successful startup+corporate collaboration. Now we want to share and discuss them with you!

BEST PRACTISES AND REAL LIFE CASES
Ignite Corporates and Startups will share their experiences and learnings through cases and panel discussions throughout the day. ABB, Ericsson Garage , EON Agile and SCA will join us in a panel on how corporates can use incubation as a tool for innovation.  Panelists from Alfa Laval, Coor, Pfizer, and Verisure will weigh in on both benefits and challenges of collaborating with startups.

THREE EXCITING INTERNATIONAL KEYNOTE SPEAKERS
Serving as one our great role-models in this field, we are very happy to welcome Dr. Helmut Shönenberger from UnternehmerTUM to Ignite Sweden Day. In close collaboration with some of Europe's largest corporates,  The Innovation Centre UnternehmerTUM in Münich offers established companies a central platform for cooperating with start-ups and talented entrepreneurs.

KLM/Air France  is another standout in startup collaboration, using it as a strategic platform for open innovation. We are therefore very pleased to welcome Rogier Van Beugen, Director Innovation & Venturing KLM/Air France, who will share their best practises with us.

When funding BMW STARTUP GARAGE, DR Matthias Mayer realised that they had to offer something else than capital to attract the best startups worldwide - hence they invented The Venture Client Model.

A TRULY INTERACTIVE DAY
This will be a very interactive day, with the help of the Swedish Startup Mentimeter. We believe that everyone can contribute to the discussions. And of course, there will be plenty of room for networking.

AWARD CEREMONY
To acknowledge and celebrate the brave corporates and startups who have entered collaborations this year, there will be award ceremony during the evening. And of course a party, startup style.
